A Life Waiting

We are accustomed to fleeing from every kind of waiting that presents itself before us, intimidated by what lies behind it. We distract ourselves in any way we can, just to avoid facing it.

We associate waiting with boredom — of which we are terribly afraid — and fail to realize how much of a gift it actually is.

If we paused for a moment to observe, we would notice how life flows endlessly beneath our eyes, oblivious to such beauty, incapable of seizing even a single breath of it.

We deprive ourselves of the chance to enjoy those moments of purity that life, unconcerned with our ingratitude, continually offers us.

Yet everything changes when you realize that the passage of time is not an enemy, but life itself. And when waiting takes on meaning, everything else ceases to matter.
