I’m Andrea Patruno, a photographer born and raised in Milan.

Growing up in a family deeply devoted to the arts, I discovered my creative voice early on — and photography soon became its purest form of expression.

Guided by a relentless curiosity and a desire to refine my craft, I’ve explored photography through every stage of its evolution: from traditional, time-honoured processes to contemporary techniques; from experimental approaches to the influence of great masters.

My work has been exhibited at Art’s Square Gallery in New York, the Biblioteca di Cesenatico, the International Photography Festival in Trieste, and the Biennale di Vigevano at the Castello Sforzesco. I’ve also been invited to exhibit at Galleria Dantebus Margutta in Rome and Galleria Dantebus in Florence.

For several years, I’ve collaborated with advertising agencies, production companies, and major fashion brands — as well as smaller independent clients—creating campaigns across fashion, advertising, still life, portraiture, and reportage.

I’ve had the privilege of working with prestigious names such as Missoni, Porsche, Moschino, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Armani, Loro Piana, Molinari, Bottega Verde, D&G, Max Mara, and many others. Each of these collaborations has not only shaped my professional path but also deepened my understanding of human connection and visual storytelling.

I believe that every photograph should tell a story.

Sometimes that story takes form first in my mind — before it’s captured through the lens. Other times, it reveals itself in the moment, within that punctum Roland Barthes described: a detail, a flicker of emotion, a trace of truth that quietly demands to be seen.

Let’s work together
